Assisted Living Leadership Series

This program is a self-paced course developed by CALA members to strengthen and develop leadership potentials. This online course has been approved for 8 hours of continuing education for administrators, RN, LPN, and CNA.

  1. California Rules and Regulations for Administrators and Licensees

    The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with the location of regulatory resources as well as provide an overview of some of the laws, regulations, policies, and procedural standards for community living. Key areas of focus will include brief reviews of important sections of California’s Health and Safety Code as well as Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, advice about what to expect from an investigation, and information about special interest rules and regulations. This is a four-hour course that covers multiple topics important to the administrator of a community living facility.
