Company History

We have been providing education and compliance solutions for assisted living and residential care providers for over 25 years. Below is a brief timeline of our company history.

1984

Where it all began... Community Education, LLC founded by Sandi Flores, RN to provide continuing education to residential care administrators.

1992

Administrator Certification - Became one of the first vendors approved by the Department of Social Services to teach the RCFE Initial Administrator Certification course for California residential care providers.

1996

Staff Training Tools DVDs - Advanced Healthcare Studies, LLC formed to create policy manuals, publications, and staff training tools for assisted living and residential care providers.

 

Adult Residential Facilities - Approved by the Department of Social Services to teach Initial Certification and continuing education for ARF Administrators.

2004

Online Education - Began offering our first online training courses. Our online courses now include self-paced continuing education, webinars, staff training, first aid, and more.

2006

Small Provider Conference - Held the first Small Provider Conference; the only statewide conference dedicated to residential care providers operating communities of 50 residents or smaller.

2009

Care and Compliance Group - Community Education, LLC and Advanced Healthcare Studies, LLC merge to become Care and Compliance Group, Inc. Josh Allen, RN becomes President and CEO of Care and Compliance Group, Inc.

2010

New Mexico - Partnered with the New Mexico Assisted Living Services Organization to develop comprehensive staff training solutions and adminsitrator certification training for New Mexico assisted living providers.

 

Arizona - Partnered with Arizona ALFA and the Arizona Senior Housing Institute to co-develop the online caregiver certificate training program to meet Arizona regulatory requirements.

 

Alzheimer's Association - Chosen by the Alzheimer's Association California Southland Chapter to deliver the Association's online continuing education courses on Alzheimer's disease and dementia care.

2011

Louisiana - Partnered with the Louisiana Assisted Living Association to deliver comprehensive training solutions at discounted member pricing..

2012

CCG Online Campus Goes Mobile - Became the first educational provider in the assisted living industry to offer mobile options for online staff training, including video on demand.

Massachusetts - Forged a training partnership with Mass ALFA to bring discounted staff training solutions to their members.

2013

Expanded our State Partners - Expanded our focus on state-specific solutions for assisted living and residential care providers by developing partnerships with the California Assisted Living Association, New York ALFA, Florida ALFA, and the Texas Assisted Living Association.

NAB RC/AL Exam - Together with the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association, developed a course to help prepare potential administrators for the NAB RC/AL Exam.

2014
